birthday weekend

This past saturday was my birthday (27th). Robby asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday..which I decided I wanted to go to the zoo and eat at olive garden, ha! I remember being confused why my dad wanted to spend his birthday relaxing and hanging out with family...and now that I'm older, i know why haha! Wait until i hit 30, then I'll want to do NOTHING! Anyways..maddie had a BLAST and ava is still too young to know whats going on.

Sunday, robby was in tough mudder...making it back to us in one piece but with bruises, scratches and splinters.

vday mini session - trial

robby and i took the girls out this morning to try out my valentines day session set up. I LOVE it and can't wait to use it with the real clients this weekend!

updates

I've been busy busy busy! I am currently working on a backdrop for my valentines sessions next weekend, JUST finished this background (behind ava) for this weekends session. I hired a lady to do maddie and avas pictures this weekend also...which i am SUPER excited about. I'm hoping maddie does better for her than me...we are promising a BIG bribery if she smiles right haha!

Also, we had TWO tornados in katy...one right next to our house. The rain from the storm flooded out robby's buick..and when i mean flooded out, i mean when i was finally able to get to it to move it (it did run...at first), my feet were in water. We also got a new/used car right before the storm hit....this is why the buick was in the street, more vulnerable to the flood. So right now, its drying out in the garage. We are hoping the battery was what died and not the electrical system.

updates from the holidays

we survived the holidays! It was a week long event and we are TIRED! Maddie and Ava made out like a bandit with their gifts and I also made out with 2 memberships for 1 year to the zoo and the children's museum!! Both are equally expensive to go to, so this makes it free (minus parking).

On another note, ava is on a milestone kick right now. She now has 2 teeth, says "dada", rolls from back to tummy and feeds herself with her bottle. All this happened in about 2 weeks! I'll post a video of her saying "dada" for the first time, which was caught on camera.
