Visit with my-dad

Lately we have been able to see a lot of my dad bc he works closer to our side of town now! Yay!

We also had a visit with him Tuesday bc we had to get our roof replaced and we were advised to leave bc of the noise. Maddie loved being able to explore in my dads back yard.

valentines day 2012

Today was a special day for me (well it is every year, b/c its my favorite holiday)..but not only did I wake up to an AWESOME set up from my hubby, i got to spend the day with my girls. I was able to witness something really amazing today...and i see it everyday, but the pictures seem to capture the truth to what i see daily. Sisterly love...it is in full steam around this house at their ages. Growing up without siblings, i never realized how close siblings are to each other....they have a gift that the parents don't even share with them.
You can see it in the pictures, you can see it the way they look at each other...and can almost have a conversation without words with each other. Maddie runs to ava when she is upset and ava always looks very concerned when maddie cries. They will share so many memories of growing up together (the good and the bad) and i look forward to hearing all their stories when they are grown up.

Today was all about love..and there was a lot of that going on around here today :)

**This morning the girls woke up to their "chair-backers"...bags of goodies on the chair. Maddie got a barbie, candy, charlie brown valentine movie and dinosaurs (which she said "i already have these, mommy!"). Ava got a chew toy/rattle and a book.

We built a tent today for us to climb under and watch movies. We will be doing this more often, it was pretty entertaining!

bath tub & glow sticks

i saw this idea on pinterest (virtual pin board) to do with the girls and while at target today i found all these glow sticks for a dollar! Worked out amazing! They LOVED IT and played in the bathtub for about an hour!

Also, maddie wanted to sleep in a tent in her room..so we set it up and she slept in it for about a week..but i think she's done with it. I kind of think it spooked her out a little b/c we had some problems with nightmares during that week, so we are back in the bed :)

kindermusik and taxes

Nothing new to report here. Photography is picking back up (thankfully i never had a LONG month break like I did last year), Robby finished our taxes...PHEW and the girls are still doing good!

We started up kindermusik class for the girls. We had our first class on thursday and maddie LOVED it! Even ava looked like she enjoyed it! Maddie followed directions and danced around most of the class! I will have to bring my camera there sometime to give y'all a look at what they do in the class. It's really neat!

We were really worried about taxes this year, but it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. Those are the WORST part about the business. We have to sit down every 3 months and figure out all my spendings and what i've brought in...sigh...BORING!
